Having a New Year's Resolution is more of a game to me and less of a list of goals. "Which one am I going to fuck up first?" is usually how I play it.

I made an easy one this year. Nothing too fancy. It's kinda already stuff I'm sure to mess up on by March. But I made sure there's a couple on there that not even I can screw up on.

The Resolutions For 2022:

  • Attempt a book a month.
  • Lose 5kgs.
  • Tell Brendan I love him everyday.
  • Spend more time with my family and actually go out with them.
  • Make friends.
  • See the few friends I do have.
  • Get a car.
  • Save more money.
  • Limit take-away.
  • Be more active.
  • Drink less.
  • Write more.

See, it's pretty simple.

My New Year's last night was quiet. Brendan was supposed to go out but I've been feeling sick the last week and I decided it was best if I stayed in, so of course he stayed with me even though I made it very clear I wanted him to go. I took to rapid tests and can confirm it's not Covid. Just a flu.

We drank.

We bought a few Nintendo Switch games.

We just sat and drank and played.

I didn't say Happy New Year to anyone except for my family and Courtney. Oh, and one other person. It was a VERY quiet one.

In conclusions, I spent NYE how I wanted to. I was expecting to have it alone but I was with my best friend.

Not going to lie though, I'm excited for this year. Only because I have a couple things in the pipe line  but once that is over… I guess I'll make some new things.

I hope everyone had a great NYE and I really hope everyone has a better 2022.

We don't fuck around in this house
