Celine is back LIVE every Tuesday at 3pm EST on the Janome Sewing Machines Facebook page for an entire month of sewing fun and education to help you get the most from your Janome machine!

With Christmas fast-approaching, Celine will show you how to make a Christmas card on your sewing machine! Celine will demonstrate the popular Open Toe Satin Stich foot (F2), which is included with some machines, like the fabulous Janome MC6700P, but is also available separately in a blister pack.

This special presser foot has a groove underneath which allow for the build-up of thread of the decorative stitches to easily pass under the foot to keep the fabric feeding smoothly. The Open Toe at the front provides better visibility of the needle.

Open Toe Satin Stich foot (F2)

The Overedge/ Overcast foot (M) also comes with many Janome machines. The intended use of the foot is to help secure threads evenly across the seam allowance so they don't fray; similar to the action of the loopers in a serger, but this foot doesn't trim the fabric, lol! Celine will show you how to use this foot in a new way!
