I have three more traditional 12x12 pages finishing up the New Zealand leg of our honeymoon album. All three designs have been used earlier in the album - I like how using the same few designs gives an album a sense of cohesion.
Between her coming to the UK for our wedding and us arriving in New Zealand two months later, my friend had been struck down with Bell's Palsy. My friend was especially unfortunate in that the paralysis occurred on both sides of her face (the condition usually affects one side of the face).
Acknowledging her selflessness in posing for photos (which I'm sure was the last thing she wanted to do), I wanted a page that was bright and vibrant, and a profusion of flowers fitted the bill.
Even though the waterfall at Kitekite Falls (pronounced kitty kitty falls) was nowhere near it's fullest, I thought my photo was perfect for the in-the-round design.
As I had a ton of photos featuring the Auckland skyline and Auckland landmarks, I reused the double spread design.
