With our Champions League group wrapped up with another victory in midweek, we can now concentrate on pushing in the Premier League title race.
With Man City winning against Man Utd, we have dropped down to 3rd position however Chelsea drew to Burnley which presents us with the opportunity to close within one point of them at the top of the table.
However we face a tough test today against a very impressive West Ham side. David Moyes has assembled an impressive squad, which plays with intensity and drive. Winning away against West Ham with the way they have been playing would be a very valuable three points.
Prediction: West Ham 1 - 2 Liverpool. It will be tough and we will need to be dogged and clinical. Very very tough game but I hope we can get the three points.
Onto the Starting Line Ups:
I have selected the same team that played against Atletico Madrid in midweek. It was a very impressive performance all across the pitch and the players will have had plenty of time to recover and go again. I think this team can secure the points.
Joe and Christian have selected the same team which features one change to the team that I have selected. Curtis Jones starts instead of Oxlade Chamberlain.
Paul has selected the team above and says: 'This game just got bigger with Chelsea dropping points and City gaining ground. This will be a tough game but our away record this season is immense. I think Robbo comes back in, he'll want to prove he's still No.1 and will be chomping at the bit. It's a flip between Thiago and Ox in midfield for me, and I think Ox deserves another shot. Big, big game. I wouldn't be happy with a draw. Let's hope we get all 3.'
There you have it folks our predicted line ups, let us know what you think and enjoy the game.
