Sometimes people hear gods voice once, sometimes people hear it daily, and other people don't ever hear it at all because they are too busy and earthbound and their hearts are closed.
Quietness is their classroom where you learn to hear his voice. We need a quiet place in order to still our minds.
As you proceed to add this discipline to your life, you will gradually learn to carry the stillness with you wherever you go. One step at a time! When you step back out of the chaos that is all around you you will start to hear the glorious voice of the lord your god.
