As we celebrate Janome's 100th Anniversary this year, it's been fun to take a trip down memory lane to remember some amazing Janome innovations along the way. Check out this fun little history lesson, HERE. One such innovation was the world's first home embroidery machine, the Janome Memory Craft 8000 in 1990. That machine spawned a host of accessories and companion products which help us get the most from our embroidery machines, including the equally innovative Janome Clothsetter!

The Janome Clothsetter is an ingenious invention which helps with precise placement of the embroidery design. Many of us describe this tool as our "third hand" as the Clothsetter holds the embroidery hoop in place while we position the stabilizer, fabric and inner hoop. It's yet another of those fabulous Janome accessories which is so simple, yet sew effective! For more information, check out this article on improving hooping techniques, as well.
