The transfer market has gone crazy here are all the latest...
Jurgen Klopp is an admirer of Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Braut Haaland, and there are figures within Anfield who believe the 20-year-old will be Liverpool's next major signing. [@DeanJonesBR]
RB Salzburg's Sporting Director believes Erling Haaland will end up at LFC...
Should Camavinga fail to engineer a move away from Rennes this summer, it seems inevitable that he will move on this time next year. The teenage sensation has attracted interest from the likes of PSG and Manchester United and has not agreed an extension at his current club. Like Pedri from Barcelona Camavinga could be a long-term option for the Reds' midfield and has the potential to become a world class player under Klopp. (LiverpoolEcho)
90min reported that Liverpool have asked for Camavinga. However, sources in France now state that PSG are closing in on Camavinga for £27.5m.
According to the Daily Mail, Liverpool have now joined the race to sign PSV Eindhoven forward Noni Madueke, with Arsenal and Tottenham also keen.
One man who had been linked with an exit for some time has now left Anfield, with Shaqiri completing a £9.5m move to French side Lyon. That money won't make an enormous difference to Liverpool's transfer business but it will aid it, it will also lighten the load on the payroll, something that the club have had to bear in mind given the amount of new and improved deals that they have already handed out this summer, with Mohamed Salah and Jordan Henderson still, the club hope, to put pen to paper. But Shaqiri's move, while seemingly small, does at least demonstrate Liverpool's strength in the market when it comes to negotiating, with Lyon having initially offered the sum of £4m for the 29-year-old. (LiverpoolEcho)
Karius has been sent on loan for the past three seasons. The first two were with Besiktas, and last season he was at Union Berlin. He barely featured for the Berlin outfit last season, which may be the reason why there seems to be zero interest in him. If Liverpool are unable to move him, Karius will be on the club's books until next summer, when his contract runs out. I sincerely hope he finds a spot where he can play regular football, without the spectre of his most embarrassing professional moment hanging over him at every turn. Godspeed, Loris. Andrew Robertson has signed a new long-term deal with Liverpool until 2026. (LFC)

Robertson on the contract extension: "We're settled here, we love everything about this football club and I'm glad that the journey is continuing."
Jamie Carragher: "Liverpool are not going to change for Chelsea. Liverpool have got a defender who can cope with anybody one against one. Van Dijk is the one player in the Premier League who will fancy his chances against Lukaku."
Klopp's deal has less than 3 years left on it. It feels like that even when that time does come, the story can't end there! (TheAnfieldTalk) Agree with every word!
Klopp on Joel Matip: "In a world of big transfer fees, to sign a player like Joel Matip on a free transfer is incredible. It was maybe one of the best pieces of business we did in the last few years."

Liverpool are still active on the market – they are calling the agents... If they find the right opportunity, Liverpool will sign players. #LFC (@FabrizioRomano)

It was incredible to see the reception from the Spurs fans on Sunday and to read some of the messages of support I've had in the last few weeks.
I will be staying at Tottenham this summer and will be 100% focused on helping the team achieve success. #COYS (HarryKane)
Daniel Levy is turning down every approach from Manchester City for Harry Kane. The last bid, worth €150m, was rejected. Kane is still hopeful he can move to City before the window shuts but respects Tottenham's position. (@FabrizioRomano)
