Today's Bible Reading- Psalm Chapters 10-16 & Acts Chapter 17 Verse 16- Chapter 18 Verse 28.
Good morning, my friends. I hope you're well. It's a beautiful sunny day here. Our high is expected to be 87° with a 30% chance of rain. In other words, it's a good housework day!
I do want to check the pumpkins out and see if any have sprouted. If not, then I'll have to replant them. That's about all the outside work I want to do, though.
Today's goals are laundry, mopping the bathroom and figuring out what I'm making for supper. I'm leaning towards stroganoff, but I'm also hankering for another sausage hash. We'll see. I have all day to figure it out.
We saw my neighbor's sister at his house yesterday, and my mom was scared he'd be mad that we called a welfare check and they took his dog. I silently asked the Lord if He'd put Mom's mind at ease. I want you to know, we were coming out of Walmart (Mom had a prescription to get), and I heard someone yell out a hello to us. It was our neighbor! So, he was very appreciative of us calling the welfare check, and he wasn't mad at all that his dog was taken to the shelter. Turns out that the dog has terminal cancer, so he'll have a good last bit of his life.
All in all, yesterday was a good day. God answered prayer in more than one way. Mom's prescription was supposed to be almost $400, but they were able to use a discount card and we got it for a little over $100.
I have yet to have my coffee—or even make coffee!—and I need to read my Bible, so I will sign off for now. Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends.
