The point that is not being discussed, is the fact that people are disengaging from social contact as it is. Social skills are taking a nose dive. And once digital/animated/AI/imaginary people take the place of human people, the disconnect will be final. This is especially dangerous for youth, when they may not fit in, may not feel included. I think this is a horrendous idea and will possibly drive humans farther apart. Men should like it because the pretend woman won't talk back, ask questions or do any of the other things some men find annoying. Teenagers may end up with imaginary friends as their ONLY friends. This is not good new to me. But it's here and, if the imaginary friends tell the people who speak to them what they want to hear, or believe, well, there's no need for other human beings at all. As we drift farther and farther apart, living in a digital world, what's the point of even being human?
Our world is such, that people are dying to escape from this reality. This is one way to start.
