We had never been to either country before so it was very enjoyable. We were in Madrid for a couple of days first. It's a beautiful city but I have to say we were so busy last year that on this trip, I took a lot of photos but am having trouble remembering where they were ! And yes I keep a journal but apparently not very well. lol We did go to the Las Ventas Bullring, it's quite a beautiful building. We did not go in nor watch bull fights, that's not my thing. Las Ventas Bullring and ME ! Bullfighter statue We saw so much in Madrid, one of the spots was Cathedral de la Almudena across from the Royal Palace. We climbed up to the rooftop View from the roof of the Church Beautiful inside Inside the Church Royal Palace Royal Palace Palace Below are some street shots and other places we stopped, it's a beautiful city and far too much to see in a couple of days. So many statues in Spain ! There were walking Stuffies all over the place! Trust me to find them lol Cool little bar we found Sitting at the cool little bar and the owner kept bringing out food for us and did not charge us for the food!
