AJ Styles reportedly does not have a lot of time left on his WWE contract.
Fightful Select is reporting that "many within the industry" believe Styles' deal expires either late this year or early next year.
The 47-year-old hasn't wrestled on WWE programming since losing an I Quit match to Cody Rhodes at Clash at the Castle in June, although he did take part in the company's European tour last month and had a match against Naomichi Marufuji at NOAH Destination 2024 in July.
It is unknown if WWE has offered him a new deal or what the likelihood of him re-signing with the company is.
In February 2022, Fightful reported that Styles had signed a multi-year deal with WWE, although the exact length of the contract was not revealed. It is believed he is making "well over $3 million a year."
Styles debuted for WWE in the 2016 men's Royal Rumble match, although technically he wrestled a few dark matches for the company in 2002. Since then, he's become a two-time WWE Champion, three-time United States Champion, and a one-time Intercontinental Champion. He also once held the Raw Tag Team titles with Omos.
