Sleep On It
When you want to shout that comeback,
Sleep on it.
When you think life is a wreck,
Sleep on it.
When you crave for a numbing bailout,
Sleep on it.
When you feel drained or burned out,
Get some sleep!

Feeling very burned out (mentally and physically) in my persistent job search, I can certainly attest to this last point. When we are feeling drained and burned out, rest, rejuvenation and overall sleep hygiene are critical for optimal health and wellbeing. Adding to sleep, regular daily exercise is equally important and can support sleep hygiene. If we cannot fall asleep, placing our bodies and minds in a state of restoration (eg. meditation, yin yoga, deep stretching) can also be effective.
How will you incorporate a "movement, meditation, mindfulness" practice into your day?
