Pigeon Forge, Tennessee – Part 2

By trumstravels on August 25, 2024

As I mentioned in the previous post, Pigeon Forge is loaded with attractions and entertainment. They have a Titanic Museum which was really well done and when we entered ($35 each but worth it) we were each given a boarding pass of one of the passengers. At the end of our visit, we could see if we lived or died. I forget who I was but I lived. Hurrah ! The museum was shaped like the Titanic and they even had the iceberg outside ! The photo above is of the Captain and his dog; the dog was not on the Titanic that trip.

  • An iceberg!
  • It was a very interesting museum and we were there a couple of hours
  • they had a place where you could touch 28 degree water to see how cold it was
  • The Canadian connection
  • Titanic's cargo
  • A chart of all the passengers and crew where we could check our boarding passes

They had some really cute miniature golf courses. We like mini-putt and one day we did 54 holes, a bit much I know ! We had to take a funicular up the side of a mountain to start playing at the Hillbilly Golf course and we were told that about an hour before we got there, a bear had been up there but they shooed him away. I am going to try to shoo wildlife away next I see some lol

  • Hillbilly Golf, going up !
  • Hillbilly golf
  • Lost Treasure Mini Putt
  • Old MacDonalds course, there were 3 courses in total

Clint wanted to do the Rocky Top Coaster but I did not want to do it, so I didn't....at first........

He went on his own and then we both went, I am a huge chicken when it comes to this kind of activity. I don't even Jay Walk. But I did it, never will do it again. The little cart I was on went very fast and we were up high, still not sure how I got there !

Next post, we'll go to the Alcatraz Crime Museum and maybe a brewery or two !

See you soon....
