A color can represent many things and evoke many emotions. Yellow is the color of sunshine, a universal representation of joy and happiness. While we decorate our spaces to make for better moods, it's easy to do this on a daily basis with our wardrobes too. And while different colors means different things to different people, yellow tends to be a perpetual perker!
I say it over and over, but fashion is about dressing in a way that makes you happy and comfortable. In my personal opinion it's just as easy to throw on a dress and be ready for the day as it is to pull on your favorite athleisure-wear. Flowing fabrics for summer are key, especially in hot climates, and being cool and casual, in a festive pop of color makes my favorite season all the more magical. Painting your world yellow...or pink, or blue or purple, or whatever color makes you most happy is an easy way to transform your day, and that of anyone you may pass on the street.
It's funny to look through your closet and assess what your favorite colors are. You may think it's one thing, and then you look at your wardrobe and realize you are drawn to something else. For me it's blue - I have a closet full of blue. Maybe it's calming and soothing, maybe it flatters my skin tone, maybe it's just secretly my favorite color. But I am happy yellow is having a moment to shine in my closet as well.
