People have been conditioned to be afraid, because that makes it easier for them to be manipulated. Easier to be controlled. It works for the rich and powerful, since they are able to get fearful people to do whatever they want them to do, for the benefit of the rich and powerful. The conditioning starts at birth and doesn't end until death. Everyone is in on it, since they have also been conditioned to be fearful, so they are passing their fear to the next generation, as a matter of course. It's subtle, but works perfectly. Well, it works for most people. Thankfully, it doesn't work for everyone.
The powerful people label people who are NOT afraid. By labelling them, they get the fearful people to believe that non-fearful people are trouble makers, OTHER, and even dangerous. They expect the fearful people to control the non-fearful people by shunning them, calling them names, not hiring them, generally making their lives miserable. Sometime, the non-fearful people turn the fearful people into non-fearful, but the deck is usually stacked against them. The non-fearful people are simply not fearful. Many are artistic, imaginative, or those who simply refuse to be controlled by others who just want to control everyone else.
They begin labeling early, in order to force children to OBEY. OBEYING is what the rich and powerful want the masses to do. They want them to OBEY. They teach fear, in order to get others to OBEY. They lie and make things up to scare people so they can lie again and tell them that they will save them from the scary things, when people only need to wake up and save themselves from the rich and powerful who are terrorizing them. There are often punishments attached to not being afraid. Not being afraid sets a bad example to those in power. It frightens them. They don't like to be afraid and they especially don't like people thinking for themselves. Fear stops people from thinking for themselves.
Some people think they can control others by taking library books off shelves and by putting bibles in classrooms. Other librarians, from other places have already offered to mail books to children who want to read books that are now unavailable in their own libraries. So, those librarians are some of the people who are not afraid.
The things that are being done, some against the Constitution itself, are an indication that some people are afraid they are loosing control over others. Their actions show the level of desperation they are feeling, by taking books from children and forcing children to be indoctrinated into a religion while in school, which is clearly AGAINST THE LAW/Constitution. Apparently, the law and the Constitution of the United States, do not matter to these people, which tells you what upright citizens that truly are.
I'm so proud of the librarians who are standing against this injustice. They care about books and reading and they care about children. They also care about FREEDOM, which seems to be non existent in some places. Librarians never get enough credit for the amazing things they do for all of us. So, a standing ovation for librarians everywhere. I hope, by banding together, they can take back the libraries that are being held hostage by a group of terrified adults.
