Next Add Bow and ribbon. And Add Welcome sign to the middle.
Then ready to hang it.
Pool Party :
We used paper plates and cups and kept it Simple with some basic supplies from the local Dollar store Summer counter.
Watermelon Slush
Cool off with this fruity frozen slushie made with only three ingredients: watermelon, water and lime! Watermelon is the perfect summer fruit: refreshing and hydrating. The kids will love hanging out by the pool with a cup of this watermelon slushie in hand.
INGREDIENTS
- 6 cups frozen watermelon
- 1 ½ cups cold filtered water
- 2 limes squeezed
- Gummy watermelon slices for garnish
DIRECTIONS
- Add watermelon, water and lime juice to a blender.
- Blend until smooth.
- Garnish with gummy watermelon slices!
Party Food: Sliders
Need to feed a crowd that has worked up an appetite swimming laps in the pool? This press-in-a-pan slider recipe will help you feed the masses without standing in front of a grill for hours. Prepare the meat mixture and press it onto a cookie sheet a few hours before your party, refrigerate and cook just before the crowds show up! To serve, wrap one end of the burger in a piece of wax paper to keep your burger buns from getting soggy from pool hands!
Pool party safety tips for hosting a kid pool party
- Never leave a child alone in or around open water. Providing active supervision is the most effective way parents and caregivers can prevent drowning.
- Designate a Water Watcher. This is someone who is solely focused on actively supervising everyone in the water for 15-20 minutes at a time and does not engage in distractions during their designated time. To request a free Water Watcher tag, email KBYG@childrens.com.
- Know the swimming ability of each child present. Speak with each parent or guardian ahead of time to understand if the kids coming to your party can swim.
- Establish pool party rules and regulations for young children and non-swimmers. For instance, partygoers must wear a U.S. Coast Guard approved life jacket If children remove their life jackets for any reason, make sure they put them back on before getting in the water.
- Have the right safety equipment, such as a ring buoy and a cell phone nearby.
- Learn CPR. The American Red Cross provides information on signing up for a local CPR class
Thanks for joining Me this Tuesday and have a Safe week..... Lisa
