Today's Bible Reading- Isaiah Chapters 52-57
August's Memory Verse- John 10-27-30.

Good morning, my friends. I hope you're well. Our forecast for today: 85°, mostly cloudy, 30% chance of rain, winds from the northeast at 21 miles per hour, gusts of 28 miles per hour, and humidity is sitting at 85%.

We are feeling minimal effects from tropical storm Debbie, but I'm so grateful for the rain and cooler temperatures. We did get rain yesterday! A couple of good showers.

I did get the yard mowed yesterday. I tried to use the weed eater, but it's just a bit too much for me. My arms are crazy sore today. But, praise the Lord, the yard is mowed! Front and back!

I did get Gracie her flea stuff yesterday. It took most of the morning and part of the afternoon to get the yard done, and then I took a nice shower to get all the grime off. Then I went to get the flea stuff, and then I made a side trip to the craft store. I went in to get a skein of white yarn for Mom's sweater and came out with white yarn, variegated yarn, yarn needles, point protectors that look like gnomes and mushrooms, and stitch markers. Yeah. It was all on sale. I paid less than $20 for it all.

The French toast turned out pretty tasty! I added some vanilla and a little cinnamon to the batter. The sausage was a little spicy for some reason. Tonight is taco night.

Today, I have several goals. I have ledgers to balance. For sure, I need to balance them today. I also have a pile of bills that came in the mail yesterday. I need to get those paid and ready to go out. I have laundry to do, I need to sweep my room, and I'm going to wash my sheets today.

It's a lot, but I think it's mostly doable.

Gracie seems to be feeling a little better. She puked a little bit yesterday. She always does after getting flea stuff put on, or after I open a new bag of food. She did play with me this morning, though. I think she wants me to hang out in my room today. I'll be here for most of the morning, really. Ledgers and getting bills paid will keep me at the computer for a few hours.

That's all I have for today, peeps. Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends. ❤

P.S. I forgot to mention that the first two dig barrier panels came in! I haven't put them in yet, but hope to get them in this week. That may be a Saturday project.
