Devotionals for Daily Living © Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him. (James 1:12 (NIV)) Have you ever been under trial or testing? Are you going through a trial at this moment? Are you keeping your eyes on Jesus? That is the only way to persevere in your faith! You must stay focused on the prize and live your life as if nothing else matters. If you profess a faith in Jesus, then you know this to be true. He should be your priority. He is the prize. He is worth the effort! Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. (1 Corinthians 9:24 (NIV)) Are you running your race in such a way as to get the prize? Are you overcoming the stumbling blocks and obstacles that the enemy places in your path?
