Today's Bible Reading- Psalms Chapters 104-107.
July's Memory Verse- Proverbs 3:11-12.
Good morning, my friends. I hope you're well. Our forecast for today: 90°, partly sunny, 60% chance of rain, winds from the southwest at 4 miles per hour, and humidity is sitting at 96%.
Y'all. I am so over these dogs. The peeps behind us have gone from 2 dogs to about 5 or 6 dogs. The peeps next to them have 2-3 dogs, and the new peeps moved in next to me have 2 dogs. My wakeup call this week has been all these dogs, gathered at the fence corner, barking at each other. It's ridiculous.
Now that the peeps behind me have more dogs, I really need to work on a dig barrier so they don't get into our yard. That's going to be expensive. Someone told me that tent stakes work. Maybe I can find some. I hope so.
Weatherwise, yesterday was intense. I tried to get the back yard mowed and ended up getting the mower stuck. It's still stuck. Our heat index was 109° yesterday, as well, but the LORD had mercy on us and sent us a really nice thunderstorm late in the afternoon. Thank You, Jesus!
Since it was too hot to do much, I spent the day working on my newest knitting project.
Today, I'll be grocery shopping. Somehow, Saturday snuck up on me! I've been working to figure out a menu for the coming week. I think I have one nailed down now. Just need to make the actual list and then get my shower and dress and head out.
Also, our mouse trap is defective. Don't ask me how. I don't know. I literally watched this mouse walk in, help himself to peanut butter and walk out. *facepalm*
That's about all I have for now, peeps. I need to get around and get out before it gets too hot. Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends. ❤
