Today's Bible Reading- Psalms Chapters 78-84.
July's Memory Verse- Proverbs 3:11-12.
Good morning, my friends. I hope you're well. Our forecast for today: 93°, sunny, 10% chance of rain, winds from the east at 3 miles per hour, and humidity is sitting at 72%.
Praise the Lord for that a/c unit in the dining room! I cannot stress how wonderful it feels to be able to be in the main part of the house, during the hottest time of the day, and I'm not sweating like bacon in a skillet. Wow. What a blessing! It cost a lot of money, but thanks to the tax refund, we were able to afford it. I think the rest of the refund will be going towards the purchase of a whole house water filtration system. Our water has been a bit stinky lately. So much so that I haven't really been drinking water.
I have a new knitting project. It's been gnawing at the back of my brain for a couple of weeks now, and I knew I didn't have the money to get the yarn for it. Lo and behold, it came to me that I had a blanket I'd started, but had forgotten about. I may have enough yarn to do this project with that yarn. I took the time yesterday to unwind the blanket, roll the yarn into balls, and then I started the new project. So. I have several works in progress right now. I have two blankets, one knit and one crochet, a sweater for Mom, and a sock.
What I like about this new project is that there's a set amount of rows. Over 200, but it's a set amount. I'm supposed to use #3 weight yarn, or sport weight, but I'm using #4, or worsted weight. I'm also using a size 8 knitting needle instead of a size 7.
The laundry is done. Half of it is put away. The other half needs fluffed. I paid a bunch of bills yesterday and got all but one of them in the mailbox before the mail lady came.
Today, Mom wants to go to the lab. We were supposed to go last week, but something happened and we weren't able to do it. I don't remember what it was.
I do need to pull the ribs out of the freezer so they'll thaw for tomorrow. I also need to go out and get some burger buns and cheese for tonight. My goodness, we've been a munching family this week! I have tomato and onion for the burgers tonight, so that's a blessing.
I have no update on the mouse yet. It has somehow figured out how to get into the trap, eat the peanut butter, and then get out again. How, I don't know. It's insane.
That's all I have for now, peeps. I need to fluff my laundry, figure out what I'm going to wear today, and get myself ready for the day. Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends. ❤
