Today's Bible Reading- Proverbs Chapters 16-21.
July's Memory Verse- Proverbs 3:11-12.
Good morning, my friends. I hope you're well. Our forecast for today: 95°, mostly sunny, 30% chance of rain, winds from the west southwest at 7 miles per hour, and humidity is sitting at 78%.
Another hot one today, peeps. It got pretty dark last night, and we had a lightning storm, but it was heat lightning. No rain. I enjoyed it, though.
I have a lot to catch up today. I didn't get all my laundry done yesterday. I changed my sheets, washed a drawer full of silverware thanks to the now deceased mouse. Yes. I had to put a kill trap down. Mr. Mouse was just too intelligent. I watched him. He went in the humane trap, got some peanut butter, and then he'd figured out how to bring down the little plank so he could get back out! I gave him every chance, but in the end, I had to put a kill trap down. Poor thing.
So. I need to finish laundry today, ledgers, pull the meat out of the freezer for supper tonight, take a bag of trash out, pick up Mom's insulin, vacuum my room, and I'm sure I'll think of about 1,000 other things I need to get done.
Gracie puked on her nice, clean pillow this morning, so that needs washed. She's also very clingy today. Mom has been asking me to feed Thelma, so I'm going to assume that I'll be doing that from now on. I also need to feed the fish today.
A lot to do and little time to get it all in. On top of all that, the RNC convention is going on. I'd like to keep an eye on it and see what's up.
That's about all I have for today, peeps. I overslept and I am absolutely bushed today. Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends. ❤
