Today's Bible Reading- Psalms Chapters 85-91.
July's Memory Verse- Proverbs 3:11-12.
Good morning, my peeps, and a happy Independence Day to you! Our forecast for today: 96°, sunny, 10% chance of rain, winds from the south southwest at 4 miles per hour, and humidity is sitting at 85%.
It's gonna be a hot one out there today. I'm hoping to get the grass cut today. At least the back yard. The front isn't so bad. A few dandelions springing up, but the back yard is a different story. Part of it will have to be weed eated before I can mow it. My first time attempting mowing since my surgery.
Pop has to work today, but I'm still going to make ribs on the grill and make some homemade mac and cheese. After the mowing, though.
Praise the Lord for a/c in the dining room! It'll make it so much more tolerable to cook today.
I picked my beans yesterday. The pods were all dried up. I got probably a third cup's worth of black beans. No lima beans came up. I suspect a bird may have had something to do with that.
I need to water the garden today, but I may do that after mowing. It's really getting sunburnt.
I'm also trying to think of ways to put a barrier up for the dogs to not get into our back yard. One got in yesterday while I was looking at the garden. Thankfully, he was friendly. He played a little bit but then went wandering around. My neighbor across the way ended up coming over and put him back where he belongs.
That's about all I have for today, peeps. Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends. ❤
