Amazon surprised me on Monday. I uploaded the final revisions of the manuscript and cover for my latest novel, hoping they would appear on my bookshelf today. I fully expected to schedule this post and return in the morning to add the links. I was shocked when both the paperback and Kindle version were ready to go a few hours later.
Still, being the creature of habit that I am, I decided to wait and announce the availability of this book in my One-Liner Wednesday post—as I have done with all my books.
One-Liner Wednesday by Linda G. Hill.
I was planning to add a catchy quote about habits, but most made habits sound like bad things. When I think of my habits, I think of coffee, beer, chocolate, walking, reading, writing and taking pictures of things that impress me. None of those are bad…are they?
Bridge to Nowhere brings the return of Rachael Todd and she finds herself tangled up in a mystery within a mystery. Perhaps that's a mystery on top of a mystery—I'm not sure of the precise geometry. However, when Rachael's friend, Gary becomes the prime suspect in a murder, she uses her role as an investigative reporter to prove his innocence.
Gary has a strong motive for committing this crime, and he has a weak alibi. Circumstantial evidence continues to point to him. Rachael not only needs to find the answers, she has to convince the police and the FBI that there are answers to be found. In doing so, she has to live up to her nickname "Rascal."
If you need more information, David has invited me to be his guest at the bar on Saturday. I'm sure he will want to explore more details. One thing I will add here, this is an independent story, not a sequel. If you only want to discover more by reading the book, the links are here for you:
