Summer has offically arrived and that means summer fashion is in full swing. Every summer I look forward to buying a few fun new pieces, but I also get excited to pull out my tried and true summer staples. You know the ones I am talking about - the timeless classics you can keep in your closet for years and they will always be in style. The pieces you can rely on to mix and match with trendy, of the moment fashion and you can make relevant to any summer situation.

Jeans are an Amercian wardrobe staple. They have been for ages and ages and probably will be for the rest of time. The styles ebb and flow, and what works one season may not always translate to the next. These jeans from Liverpool Los Angeles though - they are the perfect summer jeans. They are soft as butter, lightweight, loose and breezy. Perfect for a hot summer day or a cooler summer evening. The jeans are also just the right length to wear with sneakers, sandals or heels. That is hard to find! Not only are they comfortable to wear, they can easily be dressed to perfectly fit any occassion.

For a cooler day along the lake, I have styled the jeans with a classic white tank, white sneakers and a button-up shirt. It wouldn't be true to me, or summer, without a pop of color, so I pulled that in with the shirt. I fit in perfectly at the beach, but could easily meet friends for brunch, go shopping or even hop a flight to a faraway destination. A button-up shirt does double duty too, as you can wear it many ways. With a few simple swaps, my look could easily be transformed. A ruffled blouse and wedge heels, with a statement earring and clutch, and I'd have a dinner or evening backyard BBQ look.

When it comes to fashion, you really can have it all! Dress in, and invest in perfect pieces that fit your body and make you your most comfortable, and you are destined to enjoy every season - especially some summer sun.
