Good Wednesday, folks! I dunno about your neck of the woods, but here in Montréal we have hit the hot and gross early. As my sister, who works in a non-A/C-equipped elementary school, pointed out, we have entered Satan's a-hole. Thank gawd this is the last week, she said, then summer off! This week's Friday Fictioneer Fashionista has chosen her own photo as inspiration. Click on Rochelle's photo to be zipped over to her crib, where she explains how to play. Otherwise, just click on my frog below and add your link! Stay cool!
Mommy, you ever notice how when you drop a rock in the water, it kinda looks like a spider web?
Now that you mention it, the ripples do!
When Grandpa cut down his tree, there were circles and circles, just like a spider web!
Small trees, too. There are just less of them.
How come?
Each circle represents a year in the life of the tree.
Grandpa's tree must have been old.
Did you count the circles?
No, didn't know to. Spider webs don't work that way.
