Today's Bible Reading- 2 Chronicles Chapters 35-36 and Ezra Chapters 1-2.
June's Memory Verse- Proverbs 3:9-10.
Good morning, my friends. I hope you're well. Our forecast for today: 83°, cloudy, 40% chance of rain, winds from the south southeast at 6 miles per hour, and humidity is sitting at 93%.
I woke up to some rain this morning. A nice little shower that watered the garden. Thank You, Lord! I appreciate it.
The aquaponics tank is put back together and is running once again. Pop had to finish it yesterday. It was just a lot of work. Heavy work, too, that I couldn't help with. Bummer.
Today, my agenda will consist of cleaning Gracie's fountain and litter box, ledgers, I may get to the laundry, but I have something that takes priority. I have a stinky duty to deal with. Apparently, a mouse has died in the den. Somewhere in all that mess of wires and cables and emergency food, there is a dead mouse. It's got the den and the hallway smelling foul, and Mom can't get all the rest of her devotion time in because she can't deal with the smell.
So. It is my stinky duty to find said mouse and remove him from the house. There's a bunch of emergency food that needs thrown out anyways, so it's forcing me to deal with it, but yuck. Not looking forward to this.
If I have time today, I'll do laundry, but it's not looking promising for that.
Supper tonight will be grilled pork chops, macaroni and cheese, applesauce and I may make another salad. I did make dinner yesterday. Grilled chicken with a salad, and melon on the side. Mom had cantaloupe. Pop and I ate watermelon. It was pretty good, actually. For the salad, I put leafy greens in a bowl, and then added a chopped peach, some blueberries from our bushes, and some cherry tomatoes. I kept it all in the fridge until it was time to eat so it was super cold. Mom definitely enjoyed it.
There's one piece of chicken and a small bowl of salad left. Just enough for one person. If Mom doesn't have that for lunch, I'll eat it.
That's all I have for now, peeps. Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends. ❤
