RIP, Mr. Mouse

Today's Bible Reading- Ezra Chapters 3-6.
June's Memory Verse- Proverbs 3:9-10.

Good morning, my friends. I hope you're well. Our forecast for today: 83°, mostly cloudy, 60% chance of rain, winds are calm for now, and humidity is sitting at 92%.

Oh, Mr. Mouse. I felt bad yesterday. I went into the den to try and find his little body and I found it quite quickly, thank the Lord. He was in the trap. Poor little thing. I'd checked the trap I think the night before or something, but didn't see anything. I think what happened was that the trap itself is a dark grayish color. Mr. Mouse blended in so well I didn't see him in there. Anyhoo. I took his body out to the back corner of the yard and laid him out. He was pretty big for a mouse.

I also attempted to save the trap, but it was too stinky. That got tossed, along with the food stuffs that the mouse had gotten into. I wiped down what needed wiped down with disinfectant, then I organized the remaining emergency food, and then I sprayed the carpet with carpet cleaner and let it sit.

Mom came in later and vacuumed.

I didn't get my laundry done yesterday, so that's on the list for today. I also need to get some things paid that need paid. There's a bunch of boxes that need taken to the waste center, but I don't know if I can get them all in today. I kind of overdid myself yesterday with the post-mouse cleanup. I picked up some things that were a bit heavy.

So, today's goals. Ledgers, pay some things that need paid, laundry, feed the fish, oh! I forgot. I didn't get Gracie's fountain or litter box cleaned out. I need to get that done. We're also almost out of trash bags. I may have to make a run for those.

Supper last night was okay, but the pork drops were dry. Very dry. I almost couldn't get mine down. The mac and cheese was on point, though. Very good. A lot left over, but I see some of it for my lunch today. Mm.

Supper tonight will be tacos. Yum. I'm looking forward to it. For sure.

That's all I have for today, peeps. I need to get around and get myself going here. I'm a little slow today. Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends. ❤
