Today's Bible Reading- Psalms Chapters 30-36.
June's Memory Verse- Proverbs 3:9-10.
Good morning, my friends. I hope you're well and staying cool. It's gonna be a hot one today. Here's our forecast: 98°, sunny, 10% chance of rain, wind is calm for now, and humidity is sitting at 83%.
Ouch. It's gonna be hot. I cooked on the grill yesterday. It was too hot in the kitchen to turn on the stove and oven. We had taco salad. You remember those tostada or taco salad shells that Taco Bell used to have? It was like a big tortilla bowl. I found some at the store! Sad part was they needed to be heated up in the oven. It was way too hot for that yesterday, so the idea popped into my head to cook it all on the grill. It took a little bit, but it happened! Thank You, Jesus!
The food was pretty tasty. Had a smoky flavor from the wood I used. I didn't want to use all the charcoal, especially since I still have a couple more meals to use the grill for this week. I used some of our maple wood instead. Mm. It was delicious. The shells even took on that smoky flavor, too, and boy were they good.
Tonight will be burgers. Yum. I'm looking forward to it. Let's see. What else is there? The taxes are paid. I did my laundry yesterday. It's mostly folded and put away. I have a few things that need taken care of, but they're small things.
I need to balance the ledgers today. Maybe work on my budget. I had another bill get added on to my hospital expenses, so the payment plan I'm on has changed.
Since it's going to be too hot to do much of anything today, I'll be sticking around my room a lot. Maybe I can clean the tub. Mom's been hinting at me doing it. She thinks I clean it better for some reason. I also need to check the fish.
Other than that, the door will remain shut, the blinds down, and the fans running to keep the house as cool as possible today.
That's all for now, peeps. Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends. ❤
