Today's Bible Reading- 1 Chronicles Chapters 27-29.
May's Memory Verse- 1 Thessalonians 5:18-22.
Good afternoon, my friends. I hope you're well. This will be short and sweet. Our forecast is 84°, sunny, no rain, light breeze from the east, I believe. It was from the east this morning. Humid.
I had my post-op appointment this morning. I had started writing this, but my shower took longer than planned, and by the time I got dressed, it was time to leave.
Everything is looking good. The doctor took that last steri-strip off my belly button area. The incision site near my breastbone is still a little swollen, but that could be because I'm pretty top heavy. I'm sure that my underwire isn't helping much.
The pathology report on my gallbladder said that my gallbladder had signs of chronic inflammation. In other words, it was getting sick.
I'm a bit stuffy right now. It's pretty warm and humid out. I came into my room to cool down and saw my original post sitting here. Oops! I decided to erase it and start over.
I just put the fajita mix together to marinate. I'm making steak fajitas for supper. Unless Mom wants to make them. She's not feeling too great today. She sounds a bit puny.
I did make a small run to the store today. During my shopping trip, I picked up a summery dessert. Sherbet cups!
Mom and I shared the leftover stroganoff for lunch. No radishes for me, but I did have a peach. Mm. I love peaches. I had to stand over the kitchen sink to eat it because it was so juicy.
That's all I have for now, peeps. If we don't have any rain this weekend, I'll plan to water the garden. Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends. ❤
