I've meandered through the West Village before, but as I had a few hours to kill before leaving for the airport, I headed there again. I didn't have a plan, I simply turned down any street I liked the look of. 🙂 As with any other large, bustling and noisy global city, it's always a delight to step off one of New York City's main avenues and discover pockets of calm, few people and beautiful architecture.
