Today's Bible Reading- 1 Chronicles Chapters 14-17.
May's Memory Verse- 1 Thessalonians 5:18-22.
Good morning, my friends. I hope you're well. Our forecast for today: 73°, mostly cloudy with splurts of rain, 40% chance of rain, winds from the east northeast at 1-6 miles per hour, and humidity is sitting at 91%.
I'm moving in the right direction. Took my bandages off yesterday before I got in the shower. Everything is looking good. It's nice to have them off. I have those steri-strips on my incisions. I don't see any signs of stitches or staples, so maybe they used glue? I don't know.
Another move in the right direction is that the hospital allowed me to pool all the bills together and have one payment plan. Praise the Lord that insurance paid a good portion of the bill! It's still a couple of thousand dollars, and I'm sure that more will be added at some point. I haven't seen the pathologist bill come up yet. Either way, it's still a step in the right direction.
Continuing on, I got the groceries yesterday. Ordered them and then picked them up. I went solo this time, and ended up doing something I wasn't planning. I made supper. I overcooked the rice because I was in the chair and didn't smell it cooking, but it wasn't too bad. I made orange chicken. I think we're supposed to have BLT sandwiches tonight. We'll have to go to the store again because our grocery picker yesterday didn't give us tomatoes. Said they were "out of stock".
I'm feeling halfway decent this morning. I've had some coffee. I need a shower. The bed is made. Gracie had nom noms twice. She wouldn't settle until Mom gave her some. The a/c is going because it was fairly stuffy this morning.
I have ledgers to balance, a couple more groceries to pick up, and there's a monstrosity of a box that "needs" to be shipped to my brother-in-law overseas. I can't lift it thanks to my weight restrictions at the moment, but really, I think he can wait on it. In a few weeks, they'll find out where they're being shipped, and then they'll just have to pack it up and put it on a boat. I really hope they come back to the US. It's getting nasty out there.
That's about all I have for the moment. I need to get around and feed the fishies and check the garden. Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends. ❤
