Healthy Recipe of the Week

A refreshing treat after a workout or on a hot summer day!

Protein Power Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup Milk of choice
  • 1/2 Banana (ripe) (*I recommend frozen.)
  • 1/2 cup Raspberries (frozen)
  • 1/2 Blueberries (frozen)
  • 1 scoop Protein Powder of choice
  • 5 Ice Cubes

Ingredients

In a high-powered blender, combine the milk, banana, raspberries, blueberries, protein powder, and ice cubes until the mixture is smooth. Serve in a tall glass.

If you prefer to make a smoothie bowl (like me), blend less to create a thicker consistency and serve in a bowl. Serving my smoothie in a bowl is more satiating and satisfies my craving for ice cream!

Yields: 1 serving

Preparation Time: 5 minutes
