In addition to a fun variety of stitch patterns, many of our Janome sewing machines come with editing options which expands the creative possibilities, and the fun!
Elongation is a very fun feature built into many Janome sewing machine models. Found in the Satin Stitch category, Elongation is an editing function which adjusts the proportions of the stitch pattern, beyond just increasing in length. Stitch width and length can still be adjusted independently, as well to create different effects using the same stitch.
Many Janome sewing machines also have built-in memory capabilities to store and memorize 50, and in some models, up to 100 unique stitch combination patterns. This means you can create your own garment, or quilt labels to stitch out whenever needed. Do the set-up once, save either to the machine or to a USB flash drive, and stitch as many times as you wish. It's that simple! And don't worry, this fun, time-saving feature is not just limited to top-of-the-line machines, like the fabulous Janome Continental M17.
