Today's Bible Reading- 1 Kings Chapters 19-21.
April's Memory Verse- 1 Thessalonians 5:14-17.
We urge you, brothers, to admonish those who are idle, cheer up those who are discouraged, and help those who are weak. Be patient with everyone. Make sure that no one pays back evil for evil. Instead, always pursue what is good for each other and everyone else. Always be joyful. Continually be prayerful.
1 Thessalonians 5:14-17 ISV
Good morning, my friends. I hope you're well. Our forecast for today: 75°, mostly cloudy, 70% chance of rain, winds are calm for now, and humidity is sitting at 94%.
So, how is everyone's Tuesday so far? Can you believe it's Tuesday? I'm up. My bed is made. I've had one cup of coffee. That's all I'll be having. My sinuses are draining. I could name other things that are happening with my body today, but that would be too much information.
Praise the Lord for rain coming! I asked Him if He would send some rain to water the garden and here it comes. Thank You, Lord. Most of the squash has now sprouted, as has both melons I planted. The cucumbers in the garden bed have come back to life. The peppers and tomatoes have definitely sprouted now.
I'm going to walk out there this morning and check things out. After I shower and dress, of course.
My nerves are ramping up for tomorrow's visit with the surgeon. I've contacted who I need to contact to inform them of the potential for me not being at the convention on Saturday. Mom did pretty well on her practice drive yesterday. Better than I expected. The drive from the house to the library and then to the medical campus where I'll be having the surgery did her arm in, though, so I'm glad she'll only have to drive home. She does have some issues with making sharp turns, but the drive home will have minimal ones. I'll be goofy from anesthesia, so I probably won't care what's going on.
Praise the Lord I had the money to pay for tomorrow's surgeon visit! I got the bill in my email yesterday. $110 and some change. Praise the Lord for health insurance!
Well, today is finishing up laundry, checking the greenhouse, maybe vacuum my room. Tonight I'll soak some tapioca pearls and make tapioca tomorrow. Maybe. It's all up in the air today.
That's all I have for now, peeps. Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends. ❤
