Happy Monday! Before I start searching the archive for "Things that are Rough" to satisfy Cee's Fun Foto Challenge, I want to remind you of a different challenge.
The 4th Annual Thursday Doors Writing Challenge (TDWC) kicks off on Wednesday, May 1st.
If you don't know or don't remember how this challenge works, allow me to explain. We, the participants in the weekly Thursday Doors Challenge, have contributed twenty-eight photos of doors. You, the writer, the poet, the storyteller, choose one (or more) of these photos as inspiration for your contribution to TDWC. You post your writing on your blog and you post a link to that blog post on the TDWC main page. You can write as many stories as you like between May 1st and June 1st.
Note: If you don't have a blog, email me your story (noFacilities@gmail.com) and I'll post it. If you have trouble sharing the link, send me an email and let me know. If you have any questions, send me an email.

Yes, I brought your peanuts. I'll put them at the base of the tree
I purchased this at the woodworking show
The rain brought down a few leaves
It was amazing to be able to walk through this portion of the forest.
A short storm over the weekend brought a lot of pine cones down.
Sunrise through the honeysuckle.
I think this is a downy woodpecker
Munching in the dogwood.
Driftwood of all shapes and sizes litters the entire park.
One of my favorite tools. A reciprocating saw with a demolition blade goes through old wood, joist hangers and nails if necessary.
This is a Scarf Joint. When I contemplated doing the April A-to-Z challenge, I was going to do woodworking as a theme - this would have been "S"
The stones sit on a base of paver sand.
The train on this side of the river is just a path through the woods. Across the river is the Windsor Locks Canal trail.
This was the support. This is pressure treated wood, but...
