Today's Bible Reading- 1 Kings Chapters 9-11.
April's Memory Verse- 1 Thessalonians 5:14-17.
Good morning, my friends. I hope you're well. Our forecast for today: 78°, sunny, no rain, winds from the north northeast at 1-8 miles per hour, and humidity is sitting at 85%.
Happy Thursday, peeps. I checked on the garden bed yesterday and found more sprouts! The corn, more beans, possibly the okra, definitely a couple of squash, the cantaloupe, possibly parsnip, some peppers, some tomatoes, and one pickling and one regular cucumber have all sprouted! I am so excited! God bless our little garden.
The shade cloth seems to be helping, thank the Lord. I also have been leaving the window open to the greenhouse during the day. That seems to help as well.
The cucumbers in the greenhouse are super happy. I need to prune the squash. The corn is about ready to go into its next phase of growth. I hope the lettuce and herbs come up. Praise the Lord for everything that's already growing!
Today is Mom's day out. She has one place she wants to go to. She wants to get her glasses ordered. While we're out and getting that done, I'm going to charge the weed eater battery. Not gonna lie, I think I'd prefer a gas-powered one. The battery powered one was in my budget range, though. Either way, when I get home, I'll do some weed eating. That way it's done. The plan, Lord willing, is to mow the yard tomorrow because it's supposed to be cooler.
Supper tonight will be Pad Thai. I'm looking forward to it. You know, I think I'd like to get some more seeds. Get some more herbs to grow. It'd be nice to grow my own herbs and dehydrate them and have them at hand for cooking. Can you imagine growing your own oregano and making your own adobo seasoning from stuff you grew? The only thing I'd have to really buy would be the salt and the pepper. Mm. That's a long term goal, though. I need to make sure I can grow them all first!
Let's see. What else is there? Not much. I still have that laundry in the dryer. I completely forgot about it yesterday. Got caught up in grocery list making. Thank the Lord the groceries are in, though!
That's about all I have for today, peeps. Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends. ❤
