Let's talk about a Christian school in Florida that believes autism awareness is demonic.
Matt Baker, Lead Pastor of Trinity Christian Academy in Lake Worth, Florida, cancelled Autism Awareness Week activities, saying that such activities are "idolatry and demonic." You see, all we need to do is look to Jesus, because he is enough. For those of us who think this is a load of crap, Pastor Matt says he prays that " ... you discover and encounter the real Jesus of the Bible." And have to spend eternity in a place full of people like him? No thanks.

Matt will be in good company, though. Joining him will be the anonymous person who sent me a religious tract in the mail last week without identifying themselves. They're probably afraid of me. If you're reading this, my friend, your pamphlet went in the garbage. And it's for the best, right? After all, I wouldn't want you to have to hide from me for all of eternity.
BTW, while private schools in Florida like the one Matt works for are eligible to receive up to $8K per year per school voucher, they are not legally obligated to provide special education services to pupils. THIS is why I oppose school vouchers.
