Today's Bible Reading- 1 Kings Chapters 12-13.
April's Memory Verse- 1 Thessalonians 5:14-17.
Good morning, my friends. I hope you're well. Our forecast for today: 69°, cloudy, 20% chance of rain, winds from the east northeast at 12 miles per hour, and humidity is sitting at 77%.
So, it's very overcast this morning. The weather app is saying that we'll have some rain later this afternoon and possibly a small shower within the next hour or two.
I'm tired today. Gracie was goose-honking at 1:15 this morning. I think she forgot there were humans in the house. She wanted some human interaction. I picked her up, brought her in the room, she chirped at me. Played with her a bit but she plays rough. After chomping my hand a couple of times, I said no more and tried to get back to sleep. She started chirping again. Okay. Now what? She wanted to watch something on the tv. I put on this lady I watch who does vintage crochet. We watched that for a long time. Then Gracie got bored with that and I switched it over to a critter cam.
Long story short, the last time I looked at the clock it was 4:28. Oh, and during all that I had an almost gallbladder attack. Almost. I think I passed a stone that was large but only large enough to cause discomfort. Thank the Lord.
On the bright side, Mom's glasses are ordered. They should be here on May 9th, and when we got home, I ended up mowing the yard instead of weed eating. I'm glad I did. I'm definitely too tired for much of anything this morning.
Since there is a chance for rain, I'll keep an eye out for it. If nothing comes out of it, I'll water the garden tomorrow morning, Lord willing.
Today's goals are small since I'm tired and my gallbladder is sore. I think I'll open the greenhouse, feed the fish, check the cucumbers, switch the grow bed water, and maybe work on the old fish tank.
Supper tonight will be pork chops, salad and applesauce. I'm considering grilling the pork chops, but I may bake them. Mm. I'm leaning towards baking them. Oh! I still need to make a new batch of adobo seasoning. That won't take long. I can do that.
That's about all I have for today, peeps. I'm tired. Gracie is settling in for her morning nap. I got my old pillow out that my chiropractor had given me, the one that is flat in the middle, and she's taken it over. She gets right in the middle and rests her head on the outer part. She's currently doing that while staring at the critter cam. Drifting off into dream world.
That's all. Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends. ❤
