Today's Bible Reading- 1 Kings Chapters 17-18.
April's Memory Verse- 1 Thessalonians 5:14-17.
Good morning, my friends. I hope you're well. Our forecast for today: 79°, sunny, no rain, winds are calm for now, and humidity is sitting at 97%.
So. . . this is a big week this week. I see the surgeon on Wednesday. We'll schedule the surgery for some time on Thursday.
Pop won't be coming home for the surgery so Mom will have to drive me home. I'm supposed to take her out practicing today at some point. I also have laundry to do, some orders to place, and I need to reach out to both my nurse practitioner and the head of the delegates for my county. I need to let them know what's going on because:
1: My nurse practitioner needs to know I'm about to say adios to my gallbladder, and
2: The head of delegates needs to know to have an alternate ready to take my place, just in case I'm not able to go to the convention on Saturday.
The job Pop has out of state is finished already, but his boss said the contract is till May 5th, so stay up there until Friday. He'll be heading to Gram's house on Friday or Saturday, and then he'll be back here on Sunday night, I think. Maybe it's Saturday night. I don't remember.
Mm. I should put in the pet order before I forget. Hold on.
Okay. Pet order made. I kind of want a second cup of coffee, but I better not. I don't want to upset my gallbladder.
Anyhoo. My system is starting to come around a little bit from Friday night. I'm starting to burp again. That's a good sign. I saw this morning that I had a voicemail from the surgeon. He called yesterday to see how I was doing. That was nice. I feel like I made the right decision to see him. I just have to rely on the Lord about the finance and insurance side of things.
That's all I have for now. I have laundry, another order to place, emails to write, fish to feed, plants to water, and driving practice with Mom. Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends. ❤
