Today's Bible Reading- 1 Kings Chapter 8.
April's Memory Verse- 1 Thessalonians 5:14-17.
Good morning, my friends. I hope you're well. Our forecast for today: 76°, partly cloudy with 10% chance of rain, winds from the southwest at 5-13 miles per hour, and humidity is sitting at 79%.
Happy Wednesday, peeps! I did some more cleaning up in the greenhouse yesterday. I pulled out that bolted lettuce, put the tomato plants on the floor in the back corner. They're dying, so I may go ahead and pull them up and figure out something else I can plant in the containers. In the grow bed where the lettuce had been, I planted cilantro, parsley, mammoth dill and sage. I also planted a celery and some buttercrunch lettuce and some Parris Island romaine. The seeds are in starter plugs that are made from peat moss, so I'm thinking that the herbs especially won't be able to spread and take over as they like to do.
We have more sunberries! I'm very excited to see how they turn out. The plants are super healthy. The blueberries are starting to ripen, so we'll be harvesting in the coming days. I'd say maybe a cup and a half worth of blueberries, but I'll take it!
Today, I'll be fluffing my laundry, making the menu and grocery list, and getting my groceries for the next week.
Did I mention that I transplanted the marigolds? I don't remember talking about, but I did that on Monday. I need to remember to water them, though.
Since it is grocery day, I don't have too much planned. I have some organizing to do with the bills, but that'll take maybe two minutes. Gracie is working on a hairball. I saw evidence of her playing this morning. One of her toy mice was in the middle of the living room floor.
That's about all I have for today, peeps. It's going to be a beautiful day today. I need to keep an eye on the greenhouse and the tank temperature, but so far, I believe the shade cloth is helping.
Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends. ❤
