Today's Bible Reading- Leviticus Chapters 23-25.
February's Memory Verse- Isaiah 43:1-3.
Good morning, my peeps. I hope you're well. It's an overcast morning here. The sun is trying to peep through the clouds, but the clouds are a little much today. Like a blanket of marshmallow fluff laid out over the sky. Our forecast for today: 67°, cloudy with some sunshine peeping through at some point, 70% chance of rain this afternoon, winds from the south southwest at 4 miles per hour, and humidity is sitting at 94%.
I got Mom's prescriptions yesterday, and I made a trip to Ollie's, but Mom didn't go to the lab. She stayed home and I ran around. Other things that happened yesterday: mower parts came in, and I became pretty clear on what the Lord would like me to give up for Lent. I'm not super thrilled about it, but the whole premise behind Lent is sacrifice, so I need to change my attitude.
Gracie is waiting for second nom noms. She had the regular nom noms, but we've been giving her a little gravy from Thelma's wet food. She's thoroughly enjoyed that, and it helps her stay hydrated. The problem is that we have to wait until Thelma gets here to open the can, and Gracie is a bit impatient at times about it.
Today's goals: maybe look at the mower and see if we can do a sample pass on the back yard. Also, since it's my day off, I'd like to work on Mom's sweater. Maybe start some seeds. I'm kind of nervous to start seeds right now because the weather is so nice, and I know that at some point we'll have another cold snap or two. I fully expect a cold snap around the weekend of the 24th.
Um. . . that's about all I have for now, peeps. I need to freshen up my coffee, and start getting ready for the day. Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends. ❤
