January's Memory Verse: Isaiah 41:10.
Good morning, my friends. I hope you're well. Our forecast for today: 51°, sunny, no rain, winds from the northwest at 5 miles per hour, and humidity is sitting at 84%.
Is it just me or does it feel weird for there to be just a memory verse up at the top? Maybe it's just me.
I survived another gallstone attack yesterday. It lasted all day. I ended up sitting in the recliner with a heating pad wrapped around my abdomen and back. We usually have burgers and fries for supper on Wednesday, so Pop picked up food on his way home from work.
In the midst of the gallstone problems, I did get a few things accomplished before I was completely benched. Two loads of laundry. One load I put away this morning. The second load is in the dryer. I may need to fluff them up. I made an appointment with a holistic nurse practitioner. The earliest I could get an appointment was April 3rd. At 8:30 in the morning. The place is over an hour away, so I'll have to be up crazy early to get there on time.
The next thing I did was make an appointment to talk to someone about better health care options. The health share I have currently just isn't doing much. Lord knows I put plenty of money in, but I have yet to even hear if they'll help me cover the hospital bill. Which reminds me. I need to pay a little bit on that.
I had the health appointment scheduled for yesterday, but my gallstone attack started intensifying and I had to reschedule for Friday.
Mom helped me get a menu together. I need to get the grocery list made and go get the stuff today. One, we don't have anything for supper, and two, there's a chance of some wintery sleetiness this weekend. I want to make sure that we have an extra meal or two just in case.
So, today will be filled with grocery shopping, and if I can manage it, finishing my laundry.
That's all for now, peeps. Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends. ❤
