Today's Bible Reading- Romans Chapters 2-5.
Good morning, my friends. I hope you're well. Our forecast for today: 52°, sunny with clouds, no rain, decent air quality, winds are from the west southwest at 11 miles per hour, and humidity is sitting at 60%.
It's cold out there this morning! A little while ago, it felt like it was in the 20s. Very unseasonable for this time of year. The little heater in my room is wearing out. Last night it just wasn't putting out a whole lot of heat at all. The furnace still hasn't kicked on. Not sure what's up with that. Maybe it just finally went out? I don't know. I'm thankful for the heaters we do have, though.
I did get a little Christmas shopping done yesterday. I still have a couple of presents to get, but I need to make sure I can afford it, first!
That being said, I'll be balancing ledgers today. If I have time and the finances, I may go over to Ollie's and get myself a little heater. This one I bought last year is blowing the fan, but the heat coming out of it has drastically reduced over the past couple of days. Poor Gracie. I had to take my robe and put it around her so she'd stay warm.
Supper last night was something I whipped up while I was shopping at Aldi yesterday. I bought some honey battered chicken, some beer battered cod, and I had some fries in the freezer. Boom. Homemade Long John Silver's. It wasn't bad, but definitely not gluten free and I overcooked the fries.
Tonight, I'll be making tacos. I'll add some black beans and corn into the meat mixture to bulk it up a little, and I'll have the rest of the flour tortillas and some hard shells on the side.
I also need to work on my laundry. I didn't do any of it yesterday.
That's about all I have for now, peeps. I'm trying to wake up still, despite having had two cups of coffee. I have ledgers to balance, laundry to wash, and meat to pull out of the freezer. Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends. ❤
