Felt like we had to make up for last weekend being sick with extra fun this weekend! Luckily we already had plans to get together with Hannah, Josh and the boys and then we threw in Edgewater and a visit to the "Halloween house" on Saturday and breakfast, fishing and Halloween movies on Sunday. This week is busy with lots of fun stuff and it all ends in Dempsey's 3rd birthday so I'm really looking forward to it all!
Got a spooky mani on Friday and then headed into Erie for dinner, dessert and the chaos of four children playing 
I don't think Dempsey made anyone cry so that's an improvement 
We had Teocali + cheesecake for dessert and it's so nice hanging out with your best friends 
Dempsey didn't want to leave, especially once the stargazing started!
We had a really fun Saturday! Joey and Dempsey made some pumpkin waffles and they turned out so good! Afterward, I dashed off to get my hair cut and when I got back, the boys headed off to swim and I got to check out the weird eclipse shadows while Lydia napped. Dempsey and I hung out at the neighbors' for a good while after his nap. They are always inviting us over when it's nap time or lunch time or bath time, so felt nice to say yes. We ended the night with dinner at Edgewater — most dinners out feel so chaotic but this one didn't and that was so nice! — and then we went to check out this house nearby that always goes all out for Halloween. Dempsey seemed concerned that one of the giant monsters might walk but I think he liked it! Got the kids to bed and watched GBBO but we were both falling asleep on the couch during it
Started Sunday at Fox And The Hen because I'd been wanting to go for weeks! Got a cinnamon apple muffin drizzled in caramel to start then dove into a plate of biscuits and gravy. We really dig that place! After breakfast, the boys went fishing and I put Lydia down for her nap then made salads. After Dempsey's lunch, I put him down for his nap and then Lydia and I took a walk Back home for the rest of us to have lunch and then we just kind of hung out and watched movies until dinner time. I made us enchiladas and Dempsey acted like I was trying to poison him Joey and I thought they were good 
Got those babies to bed, then watched a couple episodes of Reservation Dogs (which is just so so good!) and BB.
