We see the relationship aspect of God between His people in this revealing passage. God desires us to seek, respond and engage with Him, as every good parent does with his/her children. When we respond appropriately, He blesses us with His presence more so. I suppose that's why God refers to Himself as the Father to help us understand this particular element of His vast and awesome character. He is that and so much more omni-everything good and loving.
