So come join us and Be inspired ! https://breastcancernow.org/get-involved/breast-cancer-awareness-month Melville Breast Cancer Awareness month Last Saturday we had a Race for a Cure fundraiser . The Race starts here and is winding through town and ends at the Melville library. Follow the sign on the route. And collect pledges for our local cancer center. Race Ends at : Melville Library: Where the town will be planting a Pink Rose in Memory of Ms Dennis Rose an Educator, Mentor and Librarian that passed away from breast cancer last year. The mayor will be there to dedicating our new Rose garden.
Melville Women's Club: and Opelousas Hospital : Is having a Tea. And showing off the Bras they made for the hospital contest. We are raising money with selling tickets to the event and Votes on the Bras.
