Today's Bible Reading- Luke Chapters 4-6.
Good morning, my friends. I hope you're well. Our forecast for today: 80°, sunny with a few clouds, 10% chance of rain, decent air quality, winds are calm for now, and humidity is sitting at 95%.
Welcome, Saturday. It's my official day off but I have at least one errand to run. Mom has some meds that need picked up. Pop had to work today, so the original plan of greenhouse and potato bed work are kind of out of the picture. If I knew how to build the aquaponics stuff, I'd be working on that. Pop hasn't shared his plans, though.
I did get the greenhouse film readjusted on a couple of corners yesterday. Made them a little tighter. That took longer than expected. I also redid the planters in the front yard and planted mums. The first one went great. The second one? Well, I started pulling out the remnants of petunias and we met with hundreds of ants. Wonderful. The whole planter has become an ant hill. I went and got the shovel and worked on getting the mums planted anyways. Thank the Lord I didn't get one ant bite!
After dealing with all that, I was bushed. I still wanted to go out, but my body was done in.
Today's plans: picking up Mom's meds, possibly going to the store to start the Thanksgiving shopping. I may go through the canned goods and date them and throw out the expired stuff. Since Pop is working, today would be a good day to do that.
That's about all I have on my plate today. I'd really like to start my Thanksgiving shopping, but if I don't get to it today, then it's not time for me to do it. Money is tight this week, so no splurging on my part.
That's all for now, peeps. Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends. ❤
