Today's Bible Reading- Luke Chapters 7-8.
Good morning, my friends. I hope you're well. I'm on the slow boat today, but here's our forecast: 81°, sunny, 10% chance of rain, moderate air quality, winds are from the southwest at 6 miles per hour, and humidity is sitting at 88%.
Speaking of humidity, I checked the temp in the greenhouse on Saturday. It got up to 110° in there with 100% humidity! Woo! It was a hot one! It's amazing.
I'm running slow this morning. Haven't even finished my first cup of coffee. It's gone cold. Haven't finished making the bed yet. Gracie has claimed the sheets.
Oh, I was wrong. At some point, I did finish the coffee. I don't remember doing that, though. Let me gets a refill.
Okay. Dinner yesterday was ribs, coleslaw and mac and cheese. It was delicious. I have leftovers but not enough for a complete meal, so I'll be adding them alongside the chili dogs I have planned for today. It's kind of our last summer fling before the cold sets in. Yes, I know it's going to be 81° today, but tomorrow's high is supposed to be 61°. Wednesday is supposed to be 52°. I expect some high winds for the next couple of days.
The agenda today? Survive. Mentally, I'm all over the place. I need some focus. I haven't showered yet, but I did feed the fish.
Speaking of fish, we had a little crisis yesterday. I thought Mr. Fishy was jsut having fun, so I showed Pop. Turns out Mr. Fishy was in distress. We tested the ammonia and it was off the chart. Pop changed out some of the water and Mr. Fishy seems to be acting better.
Um, what else can I tell you? I cleaned the indoor garden on Saturday. I bought some starter plugs at a garden supply store about an hour away, but they don't fit the molds for the indoor garden. I improvised. The "official" plugs are conical in shape. Small and thin. The ones I bought are more cube shaped. So, I cleaned the molds, put them aside and just plugged the new cubes in. So far, everything is doing well. No sprouts yet. I planted two muncher cucumbers (variety meant for containers), two Roma tomatoes (determinate in size and also great for containers), and two cilantro. Yum. I used to hate cilantro. It tasted like dirty socks, but when you get it super fresh, it has a delightful flavor.
I think I have to wash my hair today. I should probably get on that. I also have ledgers to balance, laundry to do, and Mom has my Lizzi-do list ready. It doesn't sound like much, but that's a lot for my brain to handle today. For some reason, I'm super exhausted.
That's all for now, peeps. Gracie wants food, and now is my chance to make the bed. Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends. ❤
