Today's Bible Reading- Nahum Chapters 2-3, and Habakkuk Chapters 1-3.
Good morning, my friends. I hope you're well. Our forecast for today: 82°, sunny, no rain, good air quality, winds are from the northeast at 8 miles per hour, and humidity is sitting at 76%.
Well, I got everything done that I was hoping to get done yesterday. The laundry is done. It just needs put away. The porch has been washed and smells like lavender now. I trashed the cat house and a few other items. Gracie's fountain is clean as a whistle and spouting fresh, pure water. I scrubbed down the storm door, too, as I was washing the porch yesterday.
Supper was decent. We had just a few mashed potatoes left over. That's it. Tonight will be tostadas. Simple fare, but I need simple today. I'm fighting depression.
I planted some onions and peas yesterday in the new grow beds. Which reminds me. The fish need fed. I'll get to that shortly.
Today I have ledgers to balance, bills to pay, and I need to game plan the cleanup schedule Mom wants to do over the next few weeks. She wants to take one room per week until Thanksgiving. I think that's the plan. Maybe it's Christmas. I don't remember.
I never got my itemized bill from the hospital. Instead, they sent me a final notice bill. Isn't that sweet of them? Total sarcasm there, by the way. So, I have to get that paid today or it'll go into collection. Those people are ruthless. I've had to deal with them before. Harassing phone calls, telling me they know where I live, if I have a job, what my Social Security number is, etc. It's ridiculous.
Maybe I'll plant some celery today. I need to get out and get some fresh air. I love being back at the aquaponics setup. It sounds like a fast moving creek. It's so calming. I love the sound of running water anyways. When I was a teenager, I had this little tabletop fountain on my desk. I used it so much that the motor just burnt out.
Well, that's enough chattering for this morning. Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends.
