Today's Bible Reading- Matthew Chapters 20-22.
Good morning, my friends. I hope you're well. Our forecast for today: 60°, sunny, 20% chance of rain, excellent air quality, winds from the west northwest at 5 miles per hour, and humidity is sitting at 89%.
It's a bit chilly at the moment. A cool 46°. My bed is made, but Gracie urped on it, so I'll be changing my sheets and washing everything again. Lovely. At least it's on a Monday. A bit of a slower day for me. I putter around the house and work on laundry and ledgers and bits and bobbles.
Dinner yesterday was bland. I thought I'd over seasoned the potatoes and that everything would be super salty. Nope. They slurped up that seasoning and barely tasted like anything but potato. Supper tonight will be lasagna (not homemade, I'm afraid), bread sticks and salad. I have a meeting to go to as well, but if I start feeling like I did last night, I may not go.
It was the funniest thing. I was just chilling in the recliner yesterday and all of a sudden, I developed this cough and wheeze. I got some hot tea, and had some throat drops, but the longer the day went, the worse I felt. Before bed last night, I slathered vapor rub on my chest and over my upper lip and around my nostrils. I stayed up long enough to have another throat lozenge and then I went to sleep. I also put slippers on my feet. To keep them warm. I feel much better this morning, but my throat is a bit weird from that coughing yesterday. Not sure what's up with that, but I'll keep an eye on it. I am getting to the time of year when I usually get bronchitis.
That's all I have for today, peeps. I just may sit tonight's meeting out. Just to be on the safe side. We'll see what today holds. For now, I'll plan to go but keep an eye on my respiratory system. I hope this lasagna is good. I'm pretty picky about my Italian food. Okay. Enough gabbing. I need a shower and to get my laundry started. Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends.
